Hmmmm… Getting beat by the Pirates reminds me a lot of America’s Funniest Home Videos, especially the clips where the unsuspecting guy gets hit in the groin by his little kid. He never sees it coming. Next thing he knows he’s down on the ground looking up at the people above him. Usually they’re laughing at him, just as I suspect the Phillies are laughing at us right now. Unfortunately, the Mets don’t have time to recuperate, because they begin a series with the Nationals on Friday. Let’s hope they don’t get hit in the groin by them too.
